Manama : Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, held a meeting with Her Highness Shaikha Nayla bint Hamad bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Royal Life Saving Bahrain (RLSB).
The meeting discussed efforts to strengthen collaboration to ensure the safety of swimming pools and beaches across all tourism establishments in Bahrain.
The meeting focused on enhancing the partnership between the RLSB and the Tourism Authority to conduct audits and inspections at tourism facilities, ensuring full compliance with operational safety guidelines for swimming pools.
The minister emphasised that visitor and guest safety at tourism establishments is a top priority, expressing her hope that this collaboration will further position Bahrain as a safe and attractive tourist destination.
On her part, HH Shaikha Nayla commended the Ministry of Tourism’s efforts, highlighting the importance of joint cooperation to achieve shared goals of promoting water safety awareness across various sectors and enhancing understanding of safety measures for beachgoers and pool users.
