Manama : Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, today opened the 34th edition of the Autumn Fair at Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir, in the presence of Dr. Nasser Ali Qaedi, CEO of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), and a prestigious list of ambassadors, diplomats, businessmen and businesswomen from the Kingdom of Bahrain and abroad.
Organised by Informa Markets from December 21 to 29, the Autumn Fair 2023 attracts over 557 exhibitors from 16 countries around the world. For the first time, this year’s edition will introduce three new country pavilions: the Kingdom of Morocco, the Kingdom of Thailand, and the People’s Republic of China. The highly anticipated annual retail fair is expected to draw more than 156,000 visitors from GCC countries and other nations, both regionally and internationally.
On the occasion, Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, stated: We are pleased to open the Autumn Fair’s 34th edition, which represents a shining landmark in Bahrain’s MICE history when it comes to hosting large-scale events and well-known international trade fairs. For the second year in a raw, the Autumn Fair returns to Exhibition World Bahrain, the Middle East’s newest and largest exhibition and convention centre. This year’s version comes with the biggest diversity ever due to EWB’s state-of-the-art amenities and expansive spaces.”
Al Sairfai added: “We are looking forward to a very successful version of this prominent retail fair that contributes significantly to instilling Bahrain’s position as a preferred regional shopping destination with a magnificent footfall from GCC citizens and residents, which backs BTEA’s efforts to achieve the tourism strategy 2022-2026 goals in tourism product diversification.”

Spanning over 18,000 square metres, the most renowned consumer products fair in Bahrain will offer a retail extravaganza ranging from textiles and furnishings to electrical goods, electronics, clothing, cosmetics, and décor, along with a variety of immersive activities happening throughout the event.
Over the course of 9 days, Autumn Fair will offer multiple entertainment and hospitality options with a myriad of F&B outlets and a playing area for kids at Exhibition World Bahrain, keeping abreast of the tastes and requirements of families and shoppers of all ages.
