The minister affirmed that the Autumn Fair is among the most prominent events hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting that its continuity reflects the Kingdom’s firmly established position on the regional and international exhibitions and conventions tourism map.

She commended the royal support extended to tourism by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, towards developing and advancing the sector. The minister emphasised that this has contributed to strengthening an attractive environment for investment and tourism, and to reinforcing the role of major events as an economic driver supporting various domains.
The minister stated that the exhibition represents one of the vital platforms reflecting the spirit of innovation and diversity, through attracting a wide range of exhibitors and visitors from across the globe, thereby contributing to stimulating commercial activity, the retail and transport sectors, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, and enhancing tourism facility occupancy rates, with positive implications for the national economy.

She explained that supporting such events comes within the framework of promoting the objectives of cultural and commercial exchange, and providing an ideal environment that contributes to showcasing local products. She affirmed continued cooperation with all partners to achieve further successes in this year’s edition, reflecting the Kingdom’s leading status as a vibrant economic and tourism hub.
For his part, Mohammed Ibrahim, General Manager of Informa Bahrain, the organiser of the exhibition, said that organising this edition is an extension of a successful journey spanning more than three decades, during which the Autumn Fair has consolidated its position as one of the oldest and most prominent marketing events in the Kingdom of Bahrain, maintaining its annual presence and the trust of its audience.

He noted that the 36th edition marks an important milestone in the exhibition’s history and reflects ongoing development efforts to deliver an integrated event that meets the aspirations of visitors and exhibitors alike, adding that the scale of international participation and the diversity of activities further enhance the exhibition’s standing as a platform combining shopping, entertainment and commercial exchange under one roof.
He concluded by noting that the strong turnout witnessed since the exhibition’s launch reflects growing confidence in the event, affirming that this edition contributes to supporting the retail sector, stimulating economic activity, and strengthening the presence of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a regional centre for exhibitions and major shopping festivals.
