Bangkok : Three people were killed when a police helicopter crashed in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Thailand. One person survived after parachuting from the aircraft.
The Bell 212 helicopter was on a training mission when it went down around 1 p.m. local time near Wing 5 Air Base.
Authorities have announced an investigation to determine the cause of the crash. Firefighters and rescue teams were deployed to extinguish the blaze.
According to Thailand’s Fire and Rescue page on Facebook, the victims were two pilots and a flight technician. The condition of the parachute survivor has not yet been disclosed.
