Manama: The Indian School hosted a memorable farewell function for the Class 12 students, organized by their juniors from Class 11, under the guidance of teachers.
The dignitaries for the occasion included Hon. Vice-Chairman & Hon. Member HSSE and Sports Dr. Mohammed Faizal, who lit the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the start of the celebrations. ISB Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian, Hon.Asst.Secretary & Hon. Member-Academics Ranjini Mohan, Principal VR Palaniswamy, Senior School & Academic Administration Vice-Principal G Satheesh, Middle Section Vice-Principal Jose Thomas, Staff Representative Parvathi Devadas and Head Teacher Regi Varughese attended the ceremony. The event commenced with the national anthem, followed by a recitation from the holy Quran. The Assistant Head Girl, Oviya Priya, warmly welcomed everyone present.
The Head Boy, Shan Diamond Louis, and Head Girl, Abigail Ellis Shibu, then proceeded to cut the farewell cake, marking a heartfelt moment of togetherness. The inaugural address was given by Hon. Vice-Chairman & Hon. Member HSSE and Sports Dr. Mohammed Faizal, who expressed his gratitude towards the students and shared words of wisdom for their journey ahead. Both the Head Boy and Head Girl, Shan Diamond Louis and Abigail Ellis Shibu, gave emotional and inspiring speeches, reminiscing about their school journey and bidding a fond farewell to their peers. A memorable video, capturing the highlights and memories of the academic year, was presented to the audience. The musical band performance added to the vibrancy of the evening, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
The Assistant Head Boy, Brent A. Biju, concluded the formal proceedings with the vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to all those who made the event a success. The programme also featured a variety of cultural performances that brought energy and excitement to the occasion. Fun games were organized to keep the spirit lively, and awards for excellence were presented to deserving students for their outstanding contributions throughout the year. ISB Hon. Chairman, Adv.
