Manama: The Indian School is all set to host its eagerly awaited Annual Cultural Fair 2024, after a two-years. The fair will take place on Thursday and Friday from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with a series of exciting events, cultural performances, and activities aimed at promoting artistic talent among students and fostering community spirit.
Speaking about the event, ISB Hon. Chairman, Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese said: “The enthusiasm surrounding the ISB Annual Cultural Fair 2024 has been overwhelming, with staff, students, parents, and well-wishers all coming together to ensure its success. The school community has shown tremendous support, with countless hours dedicated to organizing the event, from curating performances to setting up stalls.
Students are excited to showcase their artistic talents, while parents have eagerly volunteered their time and resources to help in every aspect of the fair’s planning. The active involvement of the entire community, including local supporters and well-wishers, highlights the collective commitment to making the fair not only a fun-filled event but also a meaningful one, aimed at supporting education and fostering unity. This shared enthusiasm promises to make the 2024 fair a truly memorable and successful occasion for all involved.”
Thursday will feature a vibrant South Indian musical program led by renowned actor and singer Vineeth Sreenivasan. On Friday, North Indian musical performances will be highlighted, led by musician and singer Tia Kar. In addition to the performances, the fair will host a variety of game stalls, entertainment programs, and licensed food stalls offering a range of delicious cuisines from Bahrain and various states of India.
ISB Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian said: “This event plays a crucial role in supporting both our students and the school’s infrastructural development. It’s an excellent platform for students to showcase their talent and for families to come together in a spirit of fun and camaraderie.”

The fair has garnered an overwhelming response, with more than 11,900 students enrolled at the school. The event is also supported by a dedicated 501-member organizing committee comprising parents, teachers, and community leaders. The fair will be held at the Indian School grounds, with shuttle services available from the National Stadium for convenient parking. Entry to the fair is priced at BD2, and all proceeds will go towards supporting the school’s educational initiatives.
