Manama : Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development, emphasised that the Ministry places citizens at the centre of its priorities, as they are the focus and objective of initiatives stemming from the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and supported His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
On the occasion of Abdullah bin Yousef Fakhro Social Development Center receiving the Gold Category rating under the “Taqyeem” evaluation programme for government service centres, the Minister expressed his pride in the honouring of the Ministry by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He described the recognition as a significant milestone in advancing institutional performance and social services in the Kingdom.
Minister Al Alawi added that such achievements reflect the continuous support of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in enhancing government performance and competitiveness. He noted that these directives have encouraged innovation and excellence in service delivery to meet the aspirations of citizens.
The minister noted that the centre’s Gold Category rating is a testament to the dedication of its national workforce, commending their efforts to provide high-quality social services in line with the highest standards.
He emphasised that the achievement reinforces a culture of institutional excellence within the Ministry and serves as an incentive for other centres to strive for further improvement. He underscored the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing the quality and reach of social services, particularly for those most in need.
The minister also commended the government service centre evaluation committee for its ongoing efforts to monitor and improve performance, stating that continued innovation and competitiveness are key to building a brighter future for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
