Manama : Ayman bin Tawfiq Al Moayyed, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), received Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, Chairman of the Bahrain Polytechnic Board of Trustees.
The meeting discussed means of enhancing cooperation and joint projects in the youth and sports sectors.
Al Moayyed praised the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture’s efforts in promoting community programmes and initiatives, including public cleanliness, raising awareness, intensifying afforestation campaigns, and maintaining public facilities.
The two sides also discussed Bahrain Technical College’s educational programmes, which offer support opportunities for Bahraini youth in the labour market.
Al Mubarak highlighted Bahrain Polytechnic’s new strategic plan, aiming to transform the institution into a modern, efficient, innovative, and flexible regional higher education provider, addressing labour market needs and meeting the Bahrain Economic Vision 2023 goals.
The SCYS Secretary-General praised the Board of Trustees of Bahrain Polytechnic for their innovative ideas, programmes, and curricula that align with the Bahraini labour market’s needs.
