Manama: Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) honoured new mothers at the maternity ward, marking the Mothers’ Day, annually observed on March 21. A SMC medical team presented them with bouquets of flowers and letters of congratulations in recognition of their dedication in serving their families and society. Government Hospitals Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari congratulated the new mothers, wishing them good health and wellness. He said that Bahrain’s largest public hospital spares no effort to deliver premium and world-standard medical and surgical services. He extended deepest congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President. “We congratulate mothers in the world, particularly Bahraini and expatriate mothers for their role in bringing up generations, fostering values in their progeniture”, he said, extending congratulations to working mothers, especially those in the health sector. The “mothers of the future” extended thanks to the SMC management and medical staff for their support to patients who are recovering at the maternity ward.
