Manama : Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), received a donation from Vitol to support the provision of five insulin pumps for children with type 1 diabetes. The donation was presented by Mariam Ahmed, Maryam Ahmed, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at Vitol.
Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa expressed his appreciation for Vitol’s support and its continued cooperation with RHF as part of its commitment to social partnership.
Mariam Ahmed affirmed that the donation reflects Vitol’s dedication to improving the quality of life for children with diabetes. She highlighted the company’s commitment to social responsibility, noting that Vitol allocates an annual budget for humanitarian and social initiatives to promote sustainable development.
She added that the private sector’s role extends beyond economic activity to social responsibility, emphasising that Vitol’s collaboration with RHF aligns with a broader developmental vision aimed at creating a tangible positive impact on beneficiaries.
