Manama : The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) announced the opening of registration for the 10th batch of the Prime Minister’s Programme for the Development of Government Cadres, starting from Tuesday, July 9, 2024, until Friday, August 9, 2024.
On this occasion, Mr. Hamad Yaqoub Al Mahmeed, Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office, stressed that the Prime Minister’s Programme for the Development of Government Cadres aims to invest in the sons of the nation as they are the main driver of development and the true wealth of the nation with which we continue to achieve successes and accomplishments in a way that supports the goals of the comprehensive development process of the Kingdom of Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect and preserve him. He pointed out that the programme embodies the visions of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Council, may God protect him, towards empowering national cadres to contribute effectively to raising the efficiency of government work and enhancing innovation and creativity in various development sectors.
Al Mahmeed pointed out that the program seeks to create qualified national leadership cadres by seconding them to the Prime Minister’s Office for a full year, in addition to involving them in an intensive training program to develop and enhance their skills by providing them with various knowledge and skills and informing them of the latest scientific and practical developments. The program also provides them with the opportunity to learn about the decision-making mechanism and develop plans for government programs through their direct meetings with decision-makers in the government.
Al-Mahmoud noted the results of the Prime Minister’s Program for the Development of Government Cadres over the past years, which resulted in distinguished national competencies that today occupy various positions of work and responsibility in the public sector, praising the efforts made by all graduates of the program in continuing the path of construction and development, which we always see as a source of pride and honor for everyone, wishing those wishing to register in the program this year all the best.
