Manama : In the presence of the His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club (REHC) High Committee, His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Vice-President of the Supreme Council for Environment, REHC High Committee’s Deputy Chairman and member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Vice-President of the Public Sports Authority and His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Cabinet Affairs Ministry’s Undersecretary, Bahrain Olympic Committee’s Vice-President, the REHC organised today the seventh racing meeting of this season, 2023-2024, at AlRaffah, Sakhir.
The race also saw the attendance of their Highnesses and equestrian sports fans, which was held over the cups of the Public Sports Authority and Bahrain Olympic Committee.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa received the Public Sports Authority’s Trophy from HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa as Al Adiyat Racing’s horse “Social Distancing” came first in the second round.
HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa also presented the trophies of the third, fourth, and fifth rounds to trainers Allen Smith and Fawzi Nass as well as the owner Salman Al Alawi, respectively.
Meanwhile, HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa presented the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s Trophy to the winning owner Hussain Ebrahim AlAfoo.
