Doha : The Ministry of Defence of the State of Qatar announced that the country was subjected to an attack involving five ballistic missiles launched from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Ministry as saying that the air defence systems of the Qatari Armed Forces successfully intercepted and countered the five ballistic missiles with high efficiency, confirming that no human or material losses were recorded as a result of this attack.
The Ministry stressed in its statement the full readiness of the Qatari Armed Forces to protect the security and stability of the country and to defend its sovereignty and national capabilities against any external threats.
