Manama : Northern Governorate unveiled a 630-square-metre mural near Buri Roundabout, titled “Women, Worthy Partners in Nation-Building,” featuring contributions from 20 artists and representing 25 professions of Bahraini women.
Ali Abdul Hussain Al Asfoor, Northern Governor, commended the mural as a reflection of Bahraini women’s achievements under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women.
The event was attended by MP Maryam Al Dhaen; Dr. Sayed Shubber Ebrahim Al Wedai. Chairman of Northern Area Municipal Council; Dr. Najma Taqi, President of Arab Open University; Brigadier Abdullah Ali Rashid Maanter, Deputy Northern Governor; and Amal Bu Chnadal, Director of the Information and Follow-up Directorate in the Northern Governorate at the Ministry of Interior.
