Berlin : German police said that nine passengers were injured when a Milan-bound Ryanair flight was forced to make an emergency landing in southern Germany due to severe turbulence caused by a thunderstorm.
Police said that bad weather led the pilot to make the emergency landing in Memmingen, about 113 kilometres west of Munich.
The aircraft was carrying 179 passengers and six crew members.
