Manama : New Millennium School, Bahrain, celebrated its Annual Day, with great flair and splendor on 23rd November, 2024. The event planned on the theme “DISNEY WONDERS @ NMS”, marked a significant milestone as the students presented a resplendent pageant of music, dance and drama, dramatizing 4 Classic Disney tales of kindness and compassion.
Event was graced with gracious presence of His Excellency Mr. Vinod K Jacob, Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain as honourable chief guest and other distinguished guests, dignitaries from the Ministry of Education, Principals of various schools in the island and proficient members from the media.
The programme commenced with the Bahrain and the Indian National Anthem followed by the holy Quran recital. The ceremonial lamp was lit by the Honourable Guests escorted by the Chairman Dr. Ravi Pillai, other dignitaries and the Principal. This entailed the bouquet and memento presentation.
The welcome address was delivered by the School Head Boy and Head Girl. The school Principal, Dr Arun Kuumar Sharma, presented the School’s Annual Report highlighting the laudable milestones achieved by the school.
During the Prize Distribution Ceremony, the Revered Guests presented Mementoes to the employees who have completed twenty, fifteen and ten years of service with the school and also to those who have secured 100% attendance during the past session.
Special Mementoes were awarded to parent community members for their consistent support to the school. The Cultural programme commenced with a euphonious welcome song followed by a melodious instrumental presentation and the splendid dramtisation of the plays SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS, FROZEN, BEAUTY AND THE BEASTS AND ALLADIN.
The Guests were superlative in their appreciation of the students, teachers and management for a classic programme presented.
School Chairman, Dr. Ravi Pillai, applauded the school for its laudable success in academic as well as co-curricular fields and wished a better future for the students. The Principal Dr Arun Kuumar Sharma, highlighted the achievements of the school, students and faculty members during last academic year and also congratulated all the participants and expressed his gratitude to the parents for their collaborative involvement in various school activities.
The mesmerizing evening saw magnificent confluence of dance, drama and music and left the audience spellbound with the colourful and emotional overtones. The show conceptualized under the able guidance of the School Principal, was filled with exuberance, unmatched zeal and
rhythm.
