Jeddah : McLaren’s Oscar Piastri secured his third victory of the 2025 Formula One season at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, moving to the top of the drivers’ standings with 99 points.
Max Verstappen finished second after receiving a five-second penalty for a first-corner clash with Piastri. Charles Leclerc took third, delivering Ferrari’s first podium of the season.
Lando Norris finished fourth after starting from 10th, and now sits second in the championship on 89 points. Verstappen is third overall with 87 points.
George Russell placed fifth for Mercedes, followed by teammate Kimi Antonelli in sixth. Lewis Hamilton, now driving for Ferrari, was seventh.
Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon finished eighth and ninth respectively for Williams, with Isack Hadjar completing the top ten for Racing Bulls.
McLaren extended their lead over Mercedes in the constructors’ standings to 77 points.
