The Indian School Bahrain will start the new academic session 2020-21 via e-learning programme. The Virtual Learning Programme (VLP) was launched to help compensate for the delay in the commencement of the new academic session. Online classes will begin tomorrow for all classes announced school officials
“Lessons have been thoughtfully designed in the form of colourful video presentations to make learning fun for young students and assist parents in engaging in their child’s learning. The child-friendly videos will be updated every week and are intended for students to learn at their own pace” stated the school.
The E-learning programme will continue until the schools reopen for regular classes through the parent portal and mobile app. The school earlier announced the decision to deliver the new academic year textbooks, notebooks and stationary home.
“I place on record my sincere appreciation to the vision of the management and the untiring efforts of the teachers and staff to make this unique project a reality with utmost dedication and creativity. We are grateful for the partnership we share with our parents and together we aspire to make this academic year a unique learning experience” said Indian School Bahrain Riffa Campus Principal Pamela Xavier.
The Virtual Learning Programme for classes 10th and 12th were well received by students and parents.
