Kuwait : The Ministry of Interior of the State of Kuwait affirmed that the Iranian attacks over the past 24 hours resulted in significant material damage to infrastructure facilities, power generation units, refining plants, and fuel tanks, in addition to several fires breaking out at various locations.
Brigadier General Nasser Bouslaib, Spokesperson of the Ministry, said that over the past 24 hours, Iran launched multiple hostile drone attacks targeting key facilities in Kuwait, including sites belonging to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy.
He said the attacks hit oil facilities and three power and desalination plants, causing major infrastructure damage, fires, and impacts to power units, desalination systems, and fuel tanks, according to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
Brig. Gen. Bouslaib said the Ministry has taken all necessary precautions to protect personnel and secure the affected sites in coordination with relevant authorities.
He added that EOD teams handled 18 debris reports from interception operations, raising the total since the start of the aggression to 776.
Brig. Gen. Bouslaib stressed that amid the current situation, state agencies remain highly prepared, working efficiently and in close coordination to handle developments and ensure national security and public safety.
