Kuwait : His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, received Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and his accompanying delegation at the Seif Palace, on the occasion of the 11th session of the Joint Higher Committee between the two countries.
Abdullah Ali Al Yahya, Kuwait’s Foreign Minister, was also present.
HH Sheikh Ahmad welcomed Dr. Al Zayani and relayed his greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, noting the strong relations between Bahrain and Kuwait.
His Highness also praised the committee’s role in enhancing bilateral cooperation.
On his part, Dr. Al Zayani conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, along with their best wishes for Kuwait’s continued development.
He highlighted the progress in the joint cooperation at all levels.
The meeting was attended by Sameer Abdullah Nass, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration; Salah Ali Al Maliki, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Kuwait; Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Badr Hood Al Mahmoud, Undersecretary for Ports and Maritime Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications.
