Amman : Tourism revenue in Jordan during the first ten months of the current year reached $6.153 billion, representing a decrease of 4.4% compared to the same period in 2023, due to a 6.6% decline in the number of tourists.
Data from the Central Bank of Jordan, showed an increase in tourism revenue from Jordanian expatriates by 6.2%, and from Arab tourists by 11.6%, while revenue from European, American, and other nationalities declined.
It was noted that spending on tourism abroad during the first ten months of the current year increased by 2%, reaching $1.657 billion, compared to the same period in 2023.
