Manama: The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) is brimming with excitement as it prepares to kick
off its Annual Cultural Fair on Thursday, as part of its Platinum Jubilee celebrations, marking
a major milestone in the school’s distinguished journey. Presented by Star Vision Events, the
ISB Annual Cultural Fair will be held on January 15 and 16, 2026, and promises to be a
vibrant celebration of culture, community, and heritage.

The two-day event is expected to attract large audiences and serve as a key highlight of the school’s jubilee year. Adding to the festive spirit, ISB has unveiled an impressive range of prizes for the Annual Cultural Fair raffle draw, further enhancing the appeal of this landmark community event and encouraging widespread participation. The first prize is a brand-new MG ZS car in silver from Zayani Motors. Other major raffle prizes include gold coins of 4 grams and 2 grams from Joyalukkas, a 600-litre double-door refrigerator, a home theatre system, a front-load
washing machine, a microwave oven with electronic grill, and several premium Philips home
appliances such as a vacuum cleaner, air fryer, and blender, all procured from Mohammed
Fakhro.

The diverse prize list reflects the scale of the annual fair and the strong corporate
support extended to the school. The entry to the ISB Mega Fair is priced at BD 2 per ticket,
making the event accessible to families and individuals from all sections of the community.
The Annual Fair is poised to be the biggest cultural fair ever organised in the history of The
Indian School Bahrain, both in terms public participation. With thousands of students,
parents, alumni, and visitors anticipated over the two-day event, the fair is projected to
surpass all previous editions in scale and impact. Extensive preparations are currently
underway, with dedicated committees working on logistics, programmes, sponsorships, and
infrastructure to ensure a seamless and memorable experience.
The proceeds from the fair will be utilised for student welfare initiatives, and staff support programmes, reinforcing the school’s long-standing commitment to educational and social responsibility. Adding to the excitement is a stellar musical line-up featuring celebrated Indian artistes. The festivities will begin on Thursday, 15 January 2026, with a live concert by renowned
musician and composer Stephen Devassy and his team. Widely acclaimed for his mastery of
the keyboard and his innovative musical fusion, Stephen Devassy has earned national and
international recognition for his performances.

On Friday, 16 January 2026, the celebrations will continue with student cultural
programmes, followed by a high-energy musical evening led by popular playback singer
Rupali Jagga, accompanied by Abhishek Soni and their ensemble. Known for her powerful
vocals and dynamic stage presence, Rupali Jagga promises an engaging and memorable
performance.
The Annual Cultural Fair stands as a highlight of the Platinum Jubilee Year 2025 celebrations,
symbolising 75 years of educational excellence, cultural vibrancy, and community bonding.
With grand prizes, renowned performers, and large-scale participation, the fair is set to be a
historic milestone in the school’s journey in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The raffle draw will be
conducted on January 18 in compliance with official regulations, in the presence of ministry
representatives.

alumni, well-wishers, and members of the public to participate in large numbers and share
in the event. They noted that the fair is not only a cultural extravaganza but also a
meaningful community initiative for student assistance programmes, and staff welfare.
