Manama : General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, visited the National Ambulance Operations Centre and the General Directorate of Media and Security Culture as part of ongoing follow up on readiness and efficiency in addressing the repercussions of the Iranian aggression and enhancing emergency response mechanisms.
At the outset of the visit, the minister conveyed the greetings and appreciation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, to National Ambulance and Police Media personnel for their efforts in addressing the impact on citizens, residents, infrastructure, and civilian sites.

During the visit to the National Ambulance Operations Centre, the minister was briefed on operational readiness, including reinforcement of medical teams, ambulance vehicles, and coordination with relevant entities to ensure rapid response to emergency cases. National Ambulance provided services to injured individuals at incident sites and shelter centres, deploying more than 176 ambulances under the emergency plan.
The minister commended the National Ambulance for reducing response times and transferring cases to hospitals, noting that this reflects a high level of preparedness. He added that ambulance personnel demonstrated professionalism and field competence in handling incidents in coordination with the General Directorate of Civil Defence.
During the visit to the Police Media Centre, the minister said Bahrain demonstrated readiness in transitioning from a normal situation to an operational mode within hours, noting that the armed forces dealt efficiently with the repercussions of the Iranian aggression.

He stated that, under the support and directives of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the government worked as one team and through integrated entities in addressing the repercussions. He added that the Ministry of Interior played a central role in strengthening security and stability, reaching citizens and residents quickly, reassuring them, and maintaining communication with the community.
The minister highlighted that Police Media formed a core part of the ministry’s work and reflected the efforts of all directorates. He emphasised the importance of media reporting and commended field Police Media for delivering a disciplined message characterised by credibility, accuracy, speed, and clarity.
He also reviewed the role of Police Media in boosting morale among frontline personnel and informing them of leadership support, as well as promoting reassurance among citizens and residents by clarifying government measures, contributing to strengthening public confidence.

The minister was briefed on the efforts of the General Directorate of Media and Security Culture, noting that 354 media items were broadcast through international channels and 1,858 news items and posts were issued, while social media platforms recorded more than 128 million views.
He stressed the importance of safeguarding national achievements through discipline and dedication, expressing appreciation to police personnel for performing their duties professionally.
Mohammed Bin Daina, Director General of Media and Security Culture, expressed appreciation for the minister’s support and guidance, noting the importance of close follow up to ensure effective communication that contributes to security and stability.
