Manama : Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, met with Frédéric Sanchez, President of MEDEF International and Chairman of the Executive Board of Fives Group, along with his accompanying delegation, during their visit to Bahrain. The meeting was attended by Éric Giraud-Telme, Ambassador of France to Bahrain.
The minister highlighted the strong relations between Bahrain and France across various sectors, particularly in economy, trade, and investment, reinforced by joint agreements. He also underscored the role of unions, associations, and chambers of commerce in fostering economic cooperation.
Members of the association outlined the objectives of the International Federation and the French Chamber, focusing on their promotional and investment efforts. The meeting also addressed topics of common interest.
MEDEF International is France’s leading business network, representing a broad spectrum of enterprises, with small and medium-sized businesses making up approximately 70% of its membership.
