Manama : The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today met with Lord Jason Stockwood, Minister of State (Minister of Investment) of the United Kingdom, at Riffa Palace.
HRH the Deputy King highlighted the longstanding historic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, underscoring the importance of further expanding wide-ranging opportunities that advance shared aspirations.
His Royal Highness emphasised the continued growth of bilateral strategic cooperation, supported by agreements and memoranda of understanding, and underscored the importance of broadening the partnership, particularly across the economic and investment sectors.
During the meeting, issues of common interest and avenues to further advance cooperation were discussed.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, along with several senior officials, also attended the meeting.
