Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent a cable of thanks to Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence, following the United Nations General Assembly’s adoption of Bahrain’s initiative to designate January 28 as the International Day for Peaceful Coexistence, based on a Bahraini initiative and draft resolution submitted by the Centre.
His Royal Highness expressed pride in this international achievement, which reflects the global recognition of Bahrain’s leadership in promoting tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
His Royal Highness also commended the efforts of Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed and the team at the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence in supporting initiatives that advance Bahrain’s humanitarian vision, guided by the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
