Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at Gudaibiya Palace.
His Royal Highness highlighted the longstanding Bahrain-UAE relations and multisectoral collaboration, which continues to flourish under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad stressed that the Bahrain-UAE relationship represents a model of strategic partnership built on a foundation of mutual respect and shared aspirations.
His Royal Highness welcomed HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed to the Kingdom of Bahrain and commended the enduring partnership between Bahrain and the UAE.
HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed conveyed the greetings of HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad, extending their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.
In return, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad conveyed his greetings to HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, wishing further progress and prosperity for the UAE and its people.
During the meeting, the latest regional and international developments and issues of common interest were discussed.
HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed gratitude for His Royal Highness’s commitment to enhancing the enduring partnership and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
His Royal Highness hosted a lunch banquet in honour of HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and the accompanying delegation.
His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and several senior officials, also attended the meeting.
