Doha : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, as part of His Royal Highness’s visit to Qatar.
His Royal Highness highlighted the longstanding relations between Qatar and Bahrain, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar.
His Royal Highness conveyed the greetings of HM the King to HH the Amir of Qatar, along with His Majesty’s best wishes for Qatar’s continued progress and prosperity.
In turn, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani conveyed his greetings to HM the King and expressed his wishes for Bahrain’s continued growth and prosperity.
His Royal Highness and HH the Amir of Qatar exchanged greetings on the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, and wished peace upon the Arab and Islamic nations.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad underscored the shared commitment to further advancing the Bahrain-Qatar partnership to create opportunities that benefit both countries and realise common aspirations.
During the meeting, avenues to advance cooperation across sectors and issues of common interest were discussed.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister attended a lunch banquet hosted by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, in honour of His Royal Highness and the accompanying delegation during their visit to the State of Qatar.
