Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with several religious leaders at the Ahmed Al-Fateh Islamic Center.
The meeting took place as part of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives to protect the Kingdom, and its people, in line with developments faced by the Kingdom following the ongoing hostile Iranian aggression.
During the visit, His Royal Highness conveyed the greetings of HM the King to the religious leaders, as well as HM the King’s wishes for them to promote tolerance and understanding during the blessed Holy Month of Ramadan, and enhancing the spirit of responsibility and cooperation for the benefit of the Kingdom and its people.
His Royal Highness affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by HM the King, is resolute in its efforts to promote coexistence within the community, noting that the strength of the Kingdom is rooted in the resolution and determination of its people.
His Royal Highness emphasised the profound importance of gathering in a place of worship, which serves as a living embodiment of the Kingdom’s values of unity and solidarity, and a steadfast rejection of all efforts to incite discord or division. His Royal Highness further affirmed that these enduring values, rooted in the Kingdom’s faith and heritage, are integral to preserving its national institutions and maintaining its stability and security in confronting all challenges.
His Royal Highness affirmed the importance of religious leaders serving as role models within their community by spreading awareness and fostering a sense of unity and solidarity in the face of strife. To this end, His Royal Highness expressed his gratitude for the awareness and responsibility of Bahrainis and stressed the importance of their loyalty to the Kingdom.
His Royal Highness went on to express his pride in the role played by the personelle of the Bahrain Defence Force, who have valiantly safeguarded their nation against Iranian aggression.
His Royal Highness further commended the steadfast efforts of the Ministry of Interior in upholding security and public order and strengthening the safety and wellbeing of society, paying tribute to the dedication of its officers and staff.
His Royal Highness expressed his pride in the loyal people of Bahrain, whose steadfast support for their nation, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, speaks to a society defined by deep-rooted loyalty, awareness, and national responsibility.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed his appreciation to all those who expressed their loyalty and supportive stance, noting that these positions are a source of pride and are deeply valued.
For their part, the religious leaders expressed their gratitude to His Royal Highness, reaffirming their support for all efforts that strengthen the security and stability of the Kingdom. They commended the Kingdom’s continued progress and prosperity under the leadership of His Majesty the King and the directives of His Royal Highness.
