Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, attended the Union March today in the Al-Wathba region of Abu Dhabi, held as part of the annual Sheikh Zayed Festival in celebration of the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) 53rd National Day.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister extended the congratulations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on this occasion.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad also offered his congratulations on this national occasion.
His Royal Highness emphasised the strength of the longstanding Bahrain-UAE relations, which continue to be strengthened by His Majesty the King and His Highness the President of the UAE.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the significance of official visits between the leaderships of both countries in enhancing bilateral relations.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad praised the events held at the Union March, which showcased the unity, culture, and heritage of the UAE through various artistic and cultural performances.
His Royal Highness extended his wishes for continued progress and prosperity to the UAE and its citizens on this occasion.
The “Union March” is one of the main events of the Sheikh Zayed Festival, held annually during the UAE’s National Day celebrations, featuring cultural performances on the main stage at Al-Wathba Square.
The event featured representatives from various tribes across the Emirates, who performed traditional cultural songs.
His Royal Highness was accompanied by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and several senior officials.
