Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a written message to His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates.
In the message, HM the King extended an invitation to HH UAE President to attend the 33rd Arab Summit, set to take place in Bahrain on May 16.
On behalf of HH UAE President, His Highness Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, was handed over the written message by Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Bahraini Ambassador to the UAE, whom he received at the Al-Watan Palace.
The ambassador conveyed greetings from HM King Hamad to HH UAE President, as well as HM’s wishes for more progress and prosperity to the UAE leadership and people.
HH Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed requested the ambassador to convey the greetings of HH President Mohammed bin Zayed to HM the King, as well as HH’s wishes for continued progress and prosperity to Bahrain’s leadership and people.
The two sides discussed the deep-rooted fraternal UAE-Bahrain relations and ways to bolster bilateral cooperation in the economic, investment and development fields to achieve common interests.
