Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received His Highness Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Personal Representative, at the Al-Sakhir Palace today.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and National Security Advisor, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Royal Court Minister, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Foreign Affairs Minister, and Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Noaimi, the BDF Chief of Staff.
The meeting focused on the general regional situation, in addition to a number of local issues, including the intensification of efforts to push the comprehensive development process forward in order to increase national achievements and enhance Bahrain’s progress to serve the citizens, and strengthen the kingdom’s international status.
HM the King expressed thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Shura Council Chairman, Representatives Council’s Speaker, MPs, ministries, public and private institutions, the citizens and residents for the noble feelings they had expressed and all the festivities they had held on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s celebration of its national days, the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne, and the accompanying national events.
Those feelings and celebratory events reflected the patriotism and authenticity of the Bahraini people, HM the King said, extending thanks to all well-wishers on the national days.
