Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a delegation of Russian businesswomen visiting the Kingdom at Al Sakhir Palace.
HM the King welcomed the delegation, expressing hope that their visit would pave the way for new opportunities in economic, trade, and investment cooperation, bringing prosperity and growth to both countries and their peoples.
His Majesty commended the strong historic ties between Bahrain and Russia and the mutual commitment to develop them in all domains. HM the King expressed appreciation to His Excellency President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation for his efforts in consolidating these distinguished relations.
His Majesty the King affirmed that the Kingdom’s strategic location has made it an ideal destination for regional and global investments. His Majesty highlighted the ongoing commitment to enhancing an investor-friendly environment by offering various incentives, advantages, and skilled human resources across all sectors.
HM the King also commended the Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society (BBS) for its role in the national economy, through initiatives that empower women entrepreneurs and foster partnerships and projects with investors and businesswomen from different countries.
His Majesty the King expressed pride in the achievements of Bahraini women at the national level and their contributions to development process and decision-making. His Majesty noted their attainment of high-ranking positions locally, regionally, and internationally.
HM the King wished the visiting delegation a pleasant stay in the Kingdom and success during their visit.
The Russian businesswomen delegation expressed their gratitude to HM the King for the warm hospitality and commended the efforts to enhance Bahrain-Russia relations and boost bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, economy, and investment.
The Russian artist Fazly presented a painting to His Majesty the King on the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty’s Accession.
