Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (50) of 2025, restructuring the Board of Trustees of the National Archives Centre, based on the proposal of the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
According to the decree, the Board of Trustees of the National Archives Centre shall be formed under the chairmanship of the Public Affairs Minister at the Royal Court, with the membership of:
1- Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Deputy Chairman.
2- Minister of Social Development.
3- Representative of the Royal Archives Centre.
4- Chairman of the National Archives Centre.
5- Assistant Secretary General for Information and Session Management at the Secretariat General of the Cabinet.
6- Dr. Abdulghani Ali Saleh Abdullah.
The centre mentioned in clause (3) above shall designate its representative to the Board.
The membership term shall be four years, renewable.
The Prime Minister and ministers, each in their capacity, shall implement this decree, which shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
