Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (49) of 2025 appointing members of the Board of Trustees of the Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa College of Islamic Studies. Based on a proposal by the Minister of Education and approved by the Cabinet, the decree states:
Article I
The Board of Trustees of Abdullah bin Khalid College of Islamic Studies shall be chaired by the Minister of Education, with the following members:
1- Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif Mahmood Al Mahmood – representative of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs
2- Shaikh Dr. Sulaiman bin Shaikh Mansour Al Sitri – representative of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs
3- President of the University of Bahrain
4- Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education
5- Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council
6- Chairman of the Jaafari Endowments Council
7- Assistant Secretary General of the Higher Education Council
8- Shaikh Dr. Farid Yaqoub Yousif Al Miftah – representative of the Supreme Judicial Council
9- Salah Yousif Al Jowder – member of the King Hamad Global Center for Coexistence and Tolerance
10- Mahmood Nasser Majid Al Tublani – member of the Jaafari Endowments Council
11- Director of the Religious Institute
12- Director of the Jaafari Religious Institute
13- Dean of the Abdullah bin Khalid College for Islamic Studies.
Their membership will be for four years, renewable.
Article II
The Minister of Education shall implement this decree, which shall come into effect the day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
