Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces inaugurated today, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, the command building and new facilities at Safreh Camp.
The event came as part of Bahrain’s celebrations of its national days and the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s accession to the throne, as well as the celebration of Bahrain Police Day.
Upon arrival, His Majesty was welcomed by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Interior Minister, and senior officials.
The National Anthem was played, and His Majesty toured the new facilities at Safreh Camp.
His Majesty congratulated the Interior Minister on the opening of the facilities and expressed appreciation for his efforts.
His Majesty unveiled the commemorative plaque marking the inauguration of the command building.
His Majesty left a message in the guestbook, in which HM expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Interior Ministry and all its affiliates, and their contributions to maintaining security in the kingdom.
HM said that the new facilities further demonstrated the readiness to protect Bahrain and the ability to address challenges.
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa congratulated the minister and all ministry employees on Bahrain Police Day, coinciding with the country’s national day celebrations.
HM the King commended the ministry personnel’s achievements, professionalism, readiness, and outstanding capabilities, appreciating their sacrifices and dedication to duty.
His Majesty commended the joint efforts of the Ministry of Interior, Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), National Guard, and National Intelligence Service in carrying out their mission.
His Majesty affirmed that Bahrain will remain free, proud and safe as it continues its steady steps towards further progress and prosperity, by the dedicated efforts of its people.
His Majesty relayed his greetings and appreciation to all employees of the Ministry of Interior, wishing everyone continued success.
