Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting held at Sakhir Palace.
His Majesty expressed appreciation for the government’s efforts led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. His Majesty commended His Royal Highness’s ongoing commitment to advancing development in the Kingdom.

His Majesty highlighted the progress across various tracks of national action, stressing the importance of continuing development and enhancement of efficiency in the implementation of plans and projects. His Majesty also emphasised the importance of ensuring the sustainability of achievements that fulfill the aspirations of the Bahraini people.
His Majesty also extended his appreciation to His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, for the warm welcome and hospitality extended during the official visit of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the visit of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs. His Majesty praised the outcomes of both visits in strengthening bilateral cooperation.
In this regard, the Cabinet reviewed a report presented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs on the official visit of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to Egypt, which resulted in agreements and announcements that will further support bilateral relations between the two countries.
His Majesty then extended congratulations and best wishes to students at all educational levels on the commencement of the 2025–2026 academic year, wishing them success. His Majesty also expressed appreciation to administrative and teaching staff for their dedicated efforts in creating a motivating educational environment and reinforcing the role of education as one of the pillars of sustainable national development.

On the occasion of the International Day of Democracy, His Majesty recounted the Kingdom’s steady progress in strengthening constitutional institutions as part of its comprehensive development process. His Majesty underscored the role of national institutions in supporting development within the framework of the rule of law and as part of the reform project that anchored national participation in decision-making.
On regional and international developments, His Majesty emphasised Bahrain’s steadfast position in support of the Palestinian cause, stressing the need to reach a just and lasting solution that guarantees the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, halts escalation, protects civilians, and ensures the release of hostages and detainees, while continuing relief efforts in Gaza and its reconstruction.
His Majesty also emphasised Bahrain’s firm stance in support of the sovereignty, stability, and territorial integrity of the Republic of Lebanon, rejecting any external interference in its internal affairs. His Majesty highlighted the importance of respecting Lebanon’s historical identity and religious diversity, as well as the need to continue engaging with regional and international partners to build confidence and provide Lebanon with the support required to overcome current challenges and advance its reconstruction phase.
The Cabinet then approved the memorandum of the Coordination Committee regarding updates to the unified framework of Government Priorities Framework 4.
