Manama Under the patronage of Her Highness Shaikha Fatima Al Dana, Daughter of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Wife of Shaikh Ahmed bin Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, the +973 pop-up exhibition was inaugurated at The Avenues. Organised by +973 Artisanat, the exhibition runs from February 24 to March 2.
HH Shaikha Fatima Al Dana emphasised the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, reinforced by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in empowering entrepreneurs by developing their potential, encouraging innovation, and promoting excellence in their ventures.
HH Shaikha Fatima Al Dana also highlighted the role of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) in implementing royal directives to support entrepreneurial projects, contributing significantly to Bahrain’s economic growth.
HH Shaikha Fatima Al Dana commended +973 Artisanat and its role in fostering creative ideas and empowering entrepreneurs to establish their brands.
Dr. Shaikha Mai bint Sulaiman Al Otaibi, Chairperson of +973 Artisanat, emphasised that Bahraini creatives under the +973 Artisanat platform not only showcase their products but also gain opportunities to participate in international exhibitions and specialised training courses from global fashion institutions.
Dr. Al Otaibi thanked the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), the gold sponsor of the +973 pop-up exhibition, for its continued support of +973 Artisanat projects, developing the aspirations of emerging businesses.
Ali Fardan, General Manager of the National Bank of Kuwait, commended HH Shaikha Fatima Al Dana for her support of young entrepreneurs and her contribution to the exhibition’s success.
He underscored the importance of collaboration in nurturing entrepreneurial projects, enabling them to mature and expand globally. He also acknowledged the role of +973 Artisanat in supporting this sector and working alongside Tamkeen to advance its vision.
Firas Barakat, Mall Director of The Avenues-Bahrain, highlighted the mall’s dedication to supporting small and local businesses, emphasising their crucial contribution to economic growth and community involvement.
