Manama : Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Security Adviser and Commander of the Royal Guard, received Casey Swails, Deputy Associate Administrator of NASA.
Steven C. Bondy, Ambassador of the United States to Bahrain; Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Adviser; and Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Al Aseeri, Chief Executive Officer of the National Space Science Agency (NSSA), were present.
HH Shaikh Nasser underscored Bahrain’s achievements in space sciences, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
HH Shaikh Nasser also reviewed Bahrain’s strategic initiatives to meet present and future demands in space sciences, highlighting the importance of cooperation with NASA in space science and technology, while promoting the peaceful utilisation of outer space.
HH Shaikh Nasser underscored Bahrain’s commitment to supporting national talent, empowering them to innovate, excel, and lead in this sector.
On her part, Swails commended Bahrain’s advancements in space sciences, particularly through the launch of the Bahraini satellite “Al Munther,” highlighting it as a remarkable national achievement.
