Manama : Team Bahrain Victorious jockey Salman Isa finished second in the 120-kilometre Compiègne International Race which was held in France.
His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa hailed the achievement which reflects Team Victorious strong presence at European sports arenas.
He commended the efforts made the technical and administrative staff to enhance the readiness of the team, hailing jockeys’ ambitious to shine at different European sports arenas.
HH Shaikh Nasser extended congratulations to the Team Bahrain Victorious and Salman Isa booked the second spot on the podium, finishing second after French Aurelie, while Kuwaiti Yacoub Al Enzi came third.
Salman Isa expressed thanks and gratitude to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his support and follow-up, noting the win will further motivate the team continue achieving results in the upcoming races.
