Manama : His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), visited the national football team at outdoor stadiums during their last training session.
The visit came before the tram’s departure to Abha, Saudi Arabia to meet the Yemen national team on November 16 in the first round of the qualifiers for the World Cup 2026 and the Asian Cup 2027.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Cabinet Affairs Ministry Undersecretary and BOC Vice President, Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Bahrain Football Association (BFA) President and His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa, BFA Vice-President, were present.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad attended the training session, met the players, and conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs.
He encouraged the team to do their best, enhance the honourable stance of Bahraini sports and leave a positive imprint.
He noted the importance of doubling the efforts to achieve the best results, wishing the team the best in the match.
