Manama : His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), issued Edict (1) of 2026 appointing two members to the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Swimming Association.
The edict stipulates that, after reviewing the Law on Social and Cultural Associations and Clubs, Private Organisations Operating in the Field of Youth and Sport, and Private Institutions promulgated by Decree-Law (21) of 1989 and its amendments, as well as the Unified Statutes of Bahraini Sports Federations, Yousif Abdullah Yousif Al Kaabi and Fajr Ibrahim Khalifa Al Doseri are appointed as members of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Swimming Association.
According to article (2), the Secretary-General and all concerned parties shall implement the edict, each within their respective remit, and it shall take effect from the date of its issuance.
