Manama : Cabinet Affairs Ministry’s Undersecretary, Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) Deputy President, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, has inspected the preparations of Bahrain’s National Men’s Volleyball team, and Bahrain’s junior handball team ahead of their participation in external competitions later this month.
The senior volleyball team will participate in the Asian Men’s Volleyball Challenge Cup, set to be held in Chinese Taipei on July 8-15, while the juniors will take part in the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship, due to be hosted by the kingdom on July -16.
Upon arrival at the Isa bin Rashid Volleyball Hall, HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali was welcomed the Bahrain Volleyball Association (BVA) President, Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, and members of the Board of Directors.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali watched the training of the two national teams, and conveyed to them greetings and wishes for success from the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, General Sports Authority Chairman and BOC President, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali motivated the teams, stressing the importance of the honourable representation of the kingdom at the two sports competitions.
