Manama : His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE), tonight attended the launch of the new phase of Al Areen and the opening of Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain.
Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister; Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SRLB); His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, the Undersecretary of the Cabinet Affairs Ministry; ministers; GFH board members and officials; and Al Areen Holding officials attended the event.
His Highness said that Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has achieved remarkable success in the tourism sector.

His Highness said that the current expansion in tourism projects in Bahrain, including hotels and resorts, demonstrates that it has a conducive climate for investment in tourism.
His Highness noted that Bahrain encouraged the development of the tourism sector and that it continued to offer incentives for the private sector to invest in it.
His Highness Shaikh Abdullah was given a tour and briefed on the facilities and services in new phase of Al Areen, which shed lights on the concept of environmental tourism.
Hisham Al Rayes, Al Areen Holding Chairman and GFH Group CEO, thanked His Highness Shaikh Abdullah for attending the opening. He also thanked the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the support and facilities offered to complete this project.
Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain is the latest addition to five-star hotels in Bahrain, which brings together Bahraini creativity and beauty of the nature of the surrounding terrain, he said.
Al Areen will continue developing other projects as part of the masterplan that shall be announced soon.
