UAE Government has announced that 50 percent of the employees in the headquarters of federal ministries, agencies and institutions will return to work from June 7.
This decision comes a week after the return of 30% of the total number of employees in the federal authorities successfully.
Excluding pregnant women, people of determination, those suffering from chronic diseases and immune deficiencies, as well as employees of the elderly class, and employees who have to take care for their children from grade 9 and below, and who have children in foster care or take care of at home those whose condition requires permanent care doesn’t have to come to work.
The restrictions on employees working from office was placed as a precautionary measure to combat the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
UAE has announced 571 new cases, and 1 fatality from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, taking the total cases in the country to 36,359, according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP).
