Manama :he High Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs held a meeting chaired by Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Affairs, to follow up on the progress of preparations for this year’s Hajj season 2024/1445 AH, in line with the schedule and the plan set by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting discussed the development of regulatory procedures related to the affairs of pilgrims of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The committee reiterated the call urging citizens and residents wishing to perform Hajj rituals this year to register with licensed Hajj campaigns and reserve their seats before the end of the specified period on February 20, 2024.
The committee discussed means of facilitating the crossing of buses on the King Fahd Causeway during the Umrah seasons, by organising bus movement and ensuring the timely completion of procedures through early preparations and continuous coordination with the relevant authorities during the operation of Umrah trips.
The committee also expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Ministry of Interior, King Fahd Causeway Authority, and the authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
