Manama : The Arab Hospitals Federation (AHF) appointed Dr. Mariam Adhbi Al Jalahma, CEO of Government Hospitals, to the AHF Leaders Advisory Board, in recognition of her contributions to advancing healthcare and improving medical services in the Kingdom of Bahrain in line with global standards.
The AHF is one of the region’s leading organisations supporting the development of the healthcare sector across the Arab world. It promotes collaboration between healthcare institutions, the exchange of expertise, and strategic guidance aimed at enhancing the quality of care, developing public health policies, building medical capacity, and encouraging innovation in healthcare services.
Dr. Al Jalahma expressed pride in the appointment, noting that the role will support efforts to exchange expertise, develop innovative healthcare solutions, and strengthen integration among Arab health systems in support of sustainable development.
The Federation commended Dr. Al Jalahma’s appointment, noting her achievements in healthcare system development and leadership in implementing sustainable health strategies. It added that the decision reflects Bahrain’s position in regional and international healthcare and strengthens the council’s efforts to enhance services and foster partnerships across Arab countries.
