Paris : The French parliament began debating an emergency bill aimed at preventing a government shutdown next week, after negotiations failed to reach an agreement on the 2026 budget.
Members of the National Assembly introduced several amendments to the bill and are expected to vote on it later on Tuesday, followed by the Senate.
