Manama : : Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Supreme Council for Health (SCH) Chairman, has affirmed that Bahrain is on the right track towards achieving all its goals at all levels, stressing the importance of continuing to implement health projects to serve the comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
While laying the foundation stone of the “Hussain Ali Yateem Health Centre” at Salman City, Northern Governorate, the SCH Chairman expressed thanks and appreciation to the Ali & Mohammed Yateem Company for its support, and keenness to deliver health and treatment services to patients, within the framework of its social responsibility.
Commenting, Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Health Minister, underlined the kingdom’s keenness to launch more development projects to improve its health facilities and services so as to ensure the delivery of integrated and distinguished healthcare to everybody.
She commended the major role played by the private sector and civil society organisations in supporting efforts to achieve sustainable development, especially in the health sector, extending thanks and appreciation to the Yateem Family for their contributions, which will ensure the provisions of high quality healthcare services.
Shaikh Meshal bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Undersecretary of the Works Ministry, highlighted the Ministry’s keenness to coordinate with various government entities in designing and constructing government buildings, including health facilities, lauding the support of the private sector, which, he said, is an essential partner in implementing government projects.
Ali Hussain Yateem, Board of Directors Chairman of the Ali & Mohammed Yateem Company, expressed delight at contributing to the the project carrying his late father’s name.
He extended sincere thanks to the government, led by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for its tireless efforts to improve the quality of health services.
He also paid tribute to the SCH Chairman, the Health Minister and the Chief Executive Officer of the Primary Healthcare Centres, in addition to those in charge of the project, for their support.
