Bahrain : Former Indian President Ram Nath Kovind arrived in Bahrain to participate in the events organized as part of the 169th birth anniversary celebrations of Sree Narayana Guru.
He arrived in Bahrain on September 6th, Wednesday.
The Guru Jayanthi events are being held from September 7-9, in coordination with Sree Narayana Cultural Society, Gurudeva Social Society, Guru Seva Samithi.
The former president will participate as a chief guest at Reception dinner held on September 7.
Ministers of Bahrain and India, Indian Ambassador, Lulu Group Chairman M. A. Yusuff Ali, prominent personalities, entrepreneurs, and media persons will participate in the dinner reception
The former president will participate in the ‘Tribute to Bahrain’ program on September 8th, at 6:30pm at the Indian School, Isa Town, along with Karnataka’s Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa, Bahraini Ministers, M. A. Yusuff Ali, Sivagiri Mutt President Swami Sachidananda and Sivagiri Mutt General Secretary Swami Subhangananda.
The former president will inaugurate the ‘Children’s Parliament’ on September 9, at the Indian School, Isa Town.
He and his family will return to India on September 10.
